Technology - August 02 2005Mighty Mouse0 One of the problems with writing from the west coast is that, by the time you get into the office, everyone in the blogosphere has weighed in on a big product before you’ve even seen it. So it goes (or went) with this Apple Mighty Mouse, and it appears from out here that the days of the single-button Apple mouse may be over. But first: The scroll ball on top of this mouse is the main feature (in our opinion), and it allows you to scroll anywhere within a document. Incorporating a touchpad-like sensitivity, the mouse allows you to move within the screen by touching the mouse as well as moving it. And then: there are two squeeze buttons, one on each side of the mouse. As everyone on the web seems to be considering this morning, that’s a lot of buttons for an Apple mouse. And, of course, Apple has managed to keep the mouse looking nearly as sleek as the company’s last mouse. There you go. By: cory o'malley |
