Obedient Sons

We just noticed that Active Endeavors is now carrying Obedient Sons, a label that has been around for about five years, making progressive menswear informed by rock ‘n’ roll and a variety of youth subcultures. A lot of what the brand designs is probably too unconventional for the office, but Active Endeavors seems to have tapped into Obedient Sons’ ability to refresh classic menswear icons like this Herringbone Jacket, in a stylish and reasonably normal way. The black/grey pattern is a nice winter twist, and leather edges and elbow patches speak to the brand’s rocker aesthetic.
