SkypeOut Offers Free Calling to US and Canada

More good news for Skype users: the VoIP platform announced today that US users will now be able to call all phones within the US and Canada for free “until the end of the year.� That last part is a little unsettling, but we like the sound of free SkypeOut to all landlines and mobile phones in the US and Canada. Calls to other international destinations are still going to cost you, but this looks like merely another great benefit of an increasingly popular and effective calling option. We’ll see what happens come “the end of the year.�
