Eudora Illuminated Chair

An exercise in constructing a chair with no interior structure, this Eudora Chair, designed by Critz Campell, is made from fibreglass, encased in fabric upholstery and sealed with resin. Lit from within by fluorescent light, which illuminates the material (customized to your specifications), this chair is at least as much of a display piece as it is a functional item of furniture. As the designer has said, this chair is a “big hit in nightclubs. Then there are people who collect art furniture. But, honestly, I don’t know where people put them in their houses.� Looks great, at very least.
