Cover Your Trail

Sadly, much of the identity theft that’s occurring these days is simply the product of perpetrators who have the patience to research personal information that you’ve placed in public databases and then forgotten about. To combat the problem, a company called Delete Now has developed software that roves the Internet in search of your personal information. When found, your information is deleted and you are given a record of the action. It’s hard to tell how you can accurately measure the comprehensiveness of the software, but it’s a great idea.
