Design - September 21 2005Ice Egg0 No doubt you’ve seen those plastic ice cubes that weakly attempt to approximate the cooling power of a real ice cube. They just don’t stay cold. The Piet Hein Super Egg Ice Cube expands upon the concept by incorporating a metallic structure that stays ice cold for twice as long as a standard ice cube. And it gives off no water, so it won’t dilute your drink. The Ice Egg is dishwasher safe and can be used an infinite number of times, which you’ll appreciate when trying to make sense of this slightly pricey item. By: robert o'neill |
