Like everyone else, we’ve been hearing about bamboo as an alternative to wood for years, but we weren’t prepared for the color variety offered by Smith & Fong Plyboo Bamboo Flooring. The company’s current hook is their Plyboo Strand line, which prepares shredded bamboo mass under extremely high density. Once compressed, the planks are then sanded and finished, producing a material comparable (dare we say equally attractive) to wood. By: cory o'malley |
