Design - July 31 2006Dart Coat Hooks12
The mix of simple, clever, and effective seems to be the space where Suck UK design really excels, and these Dart Coat Hooks [product page] couldn't be a more characteristic example of the brand's humorous, slightly unorthodox sensibility. Designer Anthony Chrisp based the idea, according to d*s, on barroom dart games. The concept was then translated into three stainless steel darts that act as hooks, all attached to wall fixtures, enabling support for the weight of a coat. The set (each comes with three hooks) is currently in production, but it should be available for purchase from the Suck UK webstore soon. | Via design*sponge | By: cory o'malley |
