The Binvention, from Sprout Design

10

It's no news to the thrifty that plastic grocery bags make decent trash can liners, although the bags rarely fit the way you wish they would. Taking the issue into account, Sprout Design created The Binvention, which holds the bags open with small hooks. The piece is made with an interior space to hold the enclose the bags, designed for use with multiple bags, allowing for the sorting of recyclables. Perfectly simple and perfectly functional, the piece is also particularly stylish. Unfortunately, it's only available in the UK at the moment, direct from Sprout . | Via Design Spotter |

I have been using plastic grocery bags as trashcan liners for years. This is a genius idea. I wish they had a version for only 1 bag though. I don't need multiple bins anywhere but my kitchen and in there, these bags would be too small.
