A few months after the Reebok Basquiat shoe arrived last year, a rep from Reebok warned me that the second installment was in the works, describing, as I wrote from Project, "a slip-on covered with signature Basquiat text." Here it is, folks: the Reebopper II, a collaboration with RVCA [wiki profile]. Built with a leather upper and pigskin inner lining, the shoe is coated, both inside and out, with Basquiat's handwriting. I think it's better than the fist shoe, which I didn't think was great. Simplicity works when you're dealing with imagery as powerful as this artist's. It's limited to 1200 pairs, so move quickly if you want it. By: cory o'malley
