CellTradeUSA is a company attempting to make cell phone contract cancellation fees a thing of the past with a system that matches people who want to get out of contracts with others who want to get into those same contracts (avoiding activation fees and full term contracts). For the person trying to get out of a contract, the service provides user profiles that are initially free (while you feel around for interest in your plan; $19.99 for each contract you get out of) and is open to any cell phone service in the US. I read a similiar article on smartmoney.com a few weeks ago.After calling my provider recently 'Verizon Wireless' to tell them that I have no service in my new town in New Jersey they told me that I was still in a contract because they had service in NJ just not in my town 'lol'. I decided to give celltradeusa.com a try as per your that articel. in short it did work. I posted my ad njville.com and craigslist.com to advertise my celltrade listing. couple days later I found someone. Everything is A OK now... Just thought I would share my experience :) Good Luck! |

This seems all well and good except the hassle of keeping your number. The FAQ on the website makes it seem really difficult to keep your number and get out. Grrrr.... |
