Technology - December 15 2006LG KE850 Touchscreen Phone10
The era of touchscreen phones is upon us if this LG KE850 is any indication. Details are spotty, including info about the size of the display screen, but the phone is expected to feature resolution of up to 240 x 400, and you can see "send" and "end" buttons underneath the display in the picture, as well as a few touchscreen function buttons on the display alongside the number pad. SlashPhone suggests that this device was the recipient of a recent iF Product Design Award (although I can't find any info to back that up), and it looks both sleek and fun to use. Price and availability on this are probably not even a relevant issue at this point, but stay tuned for some details on what else this phone can do. | Via SlashPhone | By: cory o'malley |

What if your face hits the keys while you're talking -- this can be especially troublesome when you're holding the phone up with your shoulder. |

you'd have to hold this thing away from your face. unless it locked once you were on a call. but that would make call waiting, on-call address lookup, etc difficult |
