One of the things I miss most about cassette tapes is the ability to tune into your favorite DJ or on-air broadcast, hit record, and just lie back and enjoy the show. Sure, it's easy enough to rip a song or download it these days, but there was a time when commercial radio DJs really created shows. Jim Ladd from LA was one whom I used to enjoy. He'd weave a magical ride out of the songs he selected and take you on a journey. There's still some good radio out there, you just have to find it (try KCRW). Once you do, be sure to capture it on this radio that allows up to 10 hours recording. |via Uneasy Silence| By: anh ta
