Hobbit Home

This really does look about as cozy as a Hobbit home straight from the Shire. A Welsh couple decided to build their own home, with very little house-building experience, and to do it in an Earth-respecting manner, all for $6,000. They're now living in it with their two young children and from this phrase, "beer brewing, bread in the oven", seem to be lacking in none of what you or I in our prefab dwellings take for granted. I don't think I'm ready to make like Bilbo Baggins just yet, but there is a pied-a-terre calling my name.
