Availabot

Availabot is a physical representation of presence on IM applications. Oftentimes, I am away from my desk but still in line-of-sight of the workstation. This doesn't help me at all if someone I've been waiting for becomes available on IM since I can't read the screen from afar. With Availabot I can see that they're ready for chat when the little fellow stands up. This thing is weirdly hilarious. Watching the guy flop over then come to full standing attention on the video brought a few chuckles to my belly. Prototypes may be available and can be customized to your likeness from Schulze and Webb.
