Tandem Umbrella

This Tandem Umbrella from Jasmine Rasnahan is a great idea but I am going to have to veto it. The one thing a standard umbrella is good for is it forces two people seeking shelter beneath it to lean into each other. Not only do you get to share the freshness of the rain washing everything clean, you get to be closer to a friend (hopefully, a well-bathed one). Maybe I'm too much of a romantic, but it's really one of the little charms of companionship, that there are shared moments like these. We're so insulated these days from human contact that it'd be a shame to eliminate an opportunity to share. |via Fubiz|
