Da-Bloom Table

Anyone else remember that movie The Black Hole from the early 80s (1979 to be exact)? There was an evil robot in it that had propellers on the end of its arms and at some point in the movie it killed one of the humans by dicing through a book and eviscerating him. This plywood and plastic table from designer Jin-Young Lee allows you to swing the "blades" to accommodate your need. A useful design, but it might trigger some scary flashbacks to childhood movie-watching. |via Yanko|
