I remember the first time I tried boiling eggs. I forgot about them and took a nap. I woke up to an apartment filled with smoke. I lucked out that I woke up considering that the fire alarm didn't alert me because I neglected to change the dead batteries. Now I wear a stop-watch to keep track of the time and to remind me I have something cooking on the stove. This music playing egg-timer could serve as a better reminder since sometimes I'll check my watch and 30 minutes have passed since I started the boil. The device is placed in the water with your eggs and will play a different tune according to how hard the eggs should be: soft boiled - Killing me Softly, medium boiled - I wish I was a hen, hard boiled - Carmina Burana.
