T. Rex Replica
July 24 2008
How serendipitous, my mom's birthday is tomorrow and I had no idea what to buy her. Then I happen on this, the perfect present for anyone for any occasion. This full-size T.Rex is only $100,000! And it's much easier than IKEA -- it can be assembled by an experienced crew of six in just under an...

Solar-powered Cthulhu
July 10 2008
Finally, a use for solar power that I can get excited about. This creature lies still until it consumes enough of the sun's energy to awaken, then watch out. It thrashes about, seeking mortals to transform into its alien army. We're not much longer as a species, people. Submit. |via

Swatter Stunner
June 18 2008
I went through this odd phase where for three years I tried not to kill anything. If I accidentally stepped on a snail or bug, it was an accident of nature. But if I saw a spider or roach in my apartment, I'd scoot it out the door instead. Well, my apartment soon became covered in spiderweb...

Notepaper Shirt
June 18 2008
This is just what I need now that I've outgrown my pithy graphic Tees. Take your irony one step subtler with notepaper that's really a shirt. The sublimeness of it will escape those not on the bleeding edge of cool.

Pizza-Que Pizza Stone
May 21 2008
There's nothing better than firing up the grill in the summertime, whether it's traditional fare like steaks and burgers or other "experimental" dishes cooked over the flames. For a refreshing change of pace, the Pizza-Que Pizza Stone is a great addition to your grilling arsenal. The...

Orbit Bowl
May 21 2008
I can't think of any better way to serve a couple scoops of ice cream than in this porcelain bowl artifact from the retro-future, except maybe if it was brought to you by naked fembots. Nothing could be finer.

Propeller Trivet
May 21 2008
Able to withstand temperatures up to 500 farenheit, this silicone trivet opens up into an x-shape to protect your surfaces from hot dishes. When not in use you can fling it across the room in an invigorating game of "catch this, be-otch" or fold it up into a baton and put it away for...

Jet Table
May 20 2008
I never cared for the Swarovski crystal craze (I still don’t), but this carbon fiber table from Brodie Neill is inspired by Swarovski and is so sleek it looks like it could slice you just by glancing its way too fast. It will be...

Revolve Power Strip
May 19 2008
I always appreciate a new, better design on the overlooked and taken for granted objects of our lives. The power strip is one of those things we all have and once we fill all the sockets never think about again. Only when we have to unplug something and replug it do we realize how inordinately...

Feng Shui Desk Set
May 12 2008
I don't know anything about Feng Shui other than that I desperately need to rearrange my apartment to keep from tripping over stacks of stuff. These are intended to be situated according to the Feng Shui principle of "the Bagua", which in Spanish might mean "I drank the brown...
