Artful Dodger is a NY-based streetwear label informed by a European mensweater tradition. The label takes its name from a character from the Charles Dickens novel "Oliver Twist." The brand's design is thematically based on the conflict between two rival gangs at a fictitious carnival in 1815.
Brand History
Artful Doger was launched in 2004. The label's first delivery was for Spring '06, which shipped in January '06. The debut collection appeared in Fred Segal, Up Against the Wall, and Lounge, featuring tees, polos, fleece, and denim.
